At Stoke Park Junior School the teaching of geography aims to deliver a high-quality
education, where children are inspired and enthused to learn about the physical and human world that they live in.
During their time in school, they will develop and widen their knowledge and understanding of geography, by learning about places, people and the environment. Pupils will explore and question their own locality and compare to other parts of the U.K and Europe. Further studies will see them research North and South America, looking particularly at the physical features. They will learn how to draw and read maps and deepen their geographical skills through enquiry learning.
If you would like more information about Geography at our school, our Geography Leader, Mrs Samantha Sinclair will be more than happy to assist.
