Resourced provision - SLCN

Provision for Speech, Language and Communication Needs

Stoke Park Junior School shares a resourced provision with Stoke Park Infant School for children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs. The children are identified and placed by Hampshire County Council. The aim of the provision is to reduce the barriers to learning linked to complex speech and language needs in order to enable resource provision children to access learning through quality first teaching (QFT).

The resourced provision is managed by a Provision Manager who is a qualified and experienced SEN specialist teacher who provides support across both the infant and junior schools. Children who maintain their resourced provision placement when transferring from the infant school to the junior school benefit from this continuity of provision. The resourced provision employs a team of specialised Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) and has regular input from a part time NHS Speech and Language Therapist who is linked to the school.

If you have any questions regarding the resourced provision please contact Penny Earl, Resource Manager, on 023 80696495
