Safeguarding
Safeguarding
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our children is central to everything we do at Stoke Park Junior School, with every member of our school community playing a key role.
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families has a role to play. In order to fulfil this responsibility effectively, all staff ensure their approach is child centred and consider, at all times, what is in the best interests of the child.
All pupils in our school can talk to any member of staff about situations, or to share concerns, which are causing them worries. The staff will listen to the pupil, take their worries seriously and share the information with the safeguarding lead.
In addition, we provide pupils with information about who they can talk to outside of school, both within the community and with local or national organisations that can provide support or help.
Stoke Park Junior School actively supports the Government's Prevent Agenda to counter radicalism and extremism.

We work closely with Stoke Park Infant School on all Safeguarding and Child Protection matters, which allows us to effectively support families who have children in both schools. This ensures that we are able to offer timely and appropriate support.
